TEAM COLVIN 2008 It is fall, and once again it is time to participate in the Step Out Against Diabetes Walk with our daughter Jen.
She has dealt with this disease for almost 2 1/2 years now. She handled Charlie's pregnancy and birth with A-1C numbers that amazed both of her doctors. We are so proud of Jen, her attitude is amazing!
She and Team Colvin raised almost $700.00 dollars last year for ADA to fight for a cure for Diabetes. We realize this is a bad year financially for most and that money is tight...but any amount of donation is so appreciated. Even 5.00 will help to find a cure.
About 23.6 million people have Diabetes, with 1 of every 3 children developing it in their lifetime. New medical discoveries every day move us closer to wiping out Diabetes. It was another successful year! I can't believe how supported we were, despite the horrid economy this year. We have great family and friends!
