Tag, You're It...

Shannon was tagged by Beth and then Shannon tagged me. The drill was to go to my files and choose my fourth file, fourth picture and post it and tell about the picture. Here is what I found...

This is a picture of my daughter, Jennifer in the party girl dress she wore in her first performance of the Nutcracker. She was 9 years old and it was Sandy Arts Guilds first year performing the entire full length ballet of the Nutcracker. The doll she is holding is the doll giving her at her 8th birthday party at the Lion House. She was so excited about dancing in the ballet, even though it meant wearing sponge rollers in her hair all day at elementary school! Oh, the price we pay for fame.

Jennifer was a elegant, graceful dancer and I never tired of watching her dance. She danced many different rolls in the Nutcracker every year until her Junior year of High School, when she traded her toe shoes for a membership in the modern dance company at HHS.

Way to be, princess! Thanks for the memories Beth and Shannon. I tag Jen, Jaime, Sherine, and Tiffany

Hello Grandma B! I've been wondering if you haven't been posting.. and then found out that somehow my google reader had dropped off several of the blogs I read! I finally got caught up:) I hope you had a Wonderful thanksgiving.. and I love that picture of Jen:) How is it possible that she still looks so young?

I love this picture. Jen is a beautiful dancers. Love that girl. I really appreciated the comment you made about my mom. As for going private, it was more a crazy dream I had and I had already been debating b/c random people can copy pictures off your blogs. I do it all the time to get picts from friends and family but don't want a stranger doing it. This is too long. Great to be in touch.
